I had a false positive, from a program that I was sure it is benign. They are great, fast to respond and care about anything that involves their product or your computer’s protection.
With that in mind, I have to mention the people behind Zemana.
Interesting enough, I then ran Emsisoft Emergency Kit on demand scan on both programs, and it came back with zero detection on any PUP. I could not say the same for MBAM, which with the on demand scan it will flag IOBIT Advanced System Care Pro and Drive Booster as PUP. It doesn’t flag any program on my computer that has passed security checks and tests. Never had a problem with it conflicting with my antivirus or any other antimalware I use on demand. Does it job very well, and prefer it to Malwarebytes as well. I find it light on resources, and for some older computers and/or others with less ram, you will find this a great product.
